Eligibility Criteria for Sub-Inspector Recruitment

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. For the post of SI (Fire) in CISF, candidates must hold a B.Sc degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, or Telecommunication Engineering. Male candidates applying for Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV Driving License.

Age Limit & Relaxation

For most posts, the age limit is 20–25 years as of 01.08.2026. For SI (Fire) in CISF, the age limit is 18–30 years. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and as per government rules for Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates.
