Eligibility Criteria for Staff Nurse
Candidates must possess a B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized university and be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. Alternatively, candidates with an Intermediate qualification, a three-year General Nursing Course, and six months of Midwifery training from an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of India are eligible, provided they have three years of experience in a medical college or tertiary care hospital and are registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. Desirable qualifications include BLS & ACLS training and computer literacy.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Candidates must be between 18 and 42 years of age as of 01.07.2026. Age relaxation is provided as follows: 5 years for SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates; 10 years for PwBD; 3 years plus length of service for Ex-servicemen; and 5 years for those currently working in SVIMS on an ad-hoc/contract basis (subject to 5 years of service). The maximum age limit with all relaxations is 52 years.

- Interview: 10 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for OC/EWS, 35% for BC, and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
